Phyllis A. Saladino

Phyllis Ann Saladino, 83, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 17, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Tommy and Cindore (Melton) Pedigo. Phyllis married John E. Saladino on June 30, 1962 in Fort Knox, KY. He predeceased her on November 26, 2003. Phyllis was formerly employed by the Beloit Memorial Hospital kitchen for over 30 years. She was a friend to everyone, welcomed everyone into her home, as well as a mother to many children in the neighborhood. Phyllis was known for her zucchini bread. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and hunting. Survivors include her son, John (Tracey Sly) Saladino; granddaughter, Caitlyn (TJ) Kuhnle; grandson, Karl Saladino; brother, Don (Mary Ann) Pedigo; sister, Nancy Mangold; daughter-in-law, Jodi Saladino; several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents and son, Tim. The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses at Beloit Memorial Hospital, especially Ashley for the care they provided to Phyllis. A Funeral Service for Phyllis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Pastor David Meding officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Thabor Cemetery. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
