Kevin Bruce Strickler

Kevin Bruce Strickler, 68, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the IU Health Hospice House. Born August 1, 1957, in Linton, Indiana, to Harold and Virlandia "Jean" (Crites) Strickler, Kevin grew up with a passion for sports, graduating from Edgewood High School in 1976 where he excelled in all athletic activities.Kevin was a devoted husband to Joyce (Brown) Strickler, whom he married on July 25, 2014, in Bloomington. He was a proud member of the Teamsters and Laborers Union, and he found great joy behind the wheel driving semi trucks or riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Joyce; his children Cody (Kaylee) Strickler, Heather (Joe) Lindsey, Josh (Casey) Beckman, and Eli (Vanessa) Stout; his grandchildren Madelyn, Carson, Hayden, Cameron, Andi, Alix, and Adam; along with several cherished lifelong friends from his high school days. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Cheryl Trisler-Honeycut and Katrina Fender for their compassionate care during Kevin's time at the IU Hospice House.
