Minister Bernice "Bunny" Martin

Minister Bernice Martin, affectionately known as "Bunny" was born on October 13, 1961 to the late Joe Eckford and Mary Jane Martin. Bunny was the baby of two siblings and enjoyed her role of being the youngest.
Bunny gave her life to Christ at an early age and later accepted her calling and became a minister. Bunny enjoyed ministering to other and being a faithful servant to her church and community. Bunny was a Sunday School teacher, church alter worker, and a church greeter in both her Memphis and Georgia church where she was a member. Later, after returning home to Mississippi, Bunny became a member of Peter's Rock Church of God and Christ under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Hawkins this year.
After graduating from F.O. Alexander High School in 1979 and college; Bunny began her career in education, starting as a nursery school teacher and later receiving her masters and certification in Special Education. Bunny took pride in being an educator and working with her many students throughout the years....
