Carol Palmertree Obituary

TUPELO - Carol Palmertree, 67, died Thursday, February 6, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hospice Unit, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born on September 22, 1957 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Donald Gumprecht and Dorothy Redwood. She grew up in AL and graduated High School. After moving to Tupelo she worked in administration until she retired. Carol was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. She loved her family, friends and dogs. She was the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back. Her hobby and enjoyment in life was gardening. As per Carol's wishes there will be no public services. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving their friends. Carol is survived by her children, Ashley Bogle (Mike), Blake Brandon, Christy Holland (Corey), and Scott Palmertree (Rhonda); grandchildren, Colby Bogle (Reagan), and Takota Brandon; sisters, Mary Culwell, and Donna Lowry; brothers, Chuck Redwood, and Andy Redwood (Heather); special step-mother, Blanche Gumprecht; several nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Cary Palmertree; and sister, Nancy Barnes. To send flowers to the family of Carol, please visit our floral store.

Dear Blake and Ashley. I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. Carol and I had some good times together over the years. Rick and I certainly enjoyed sitting on the front porch, or out back in the yard, shooting the breeze, enjoying a drink and a smoke, plus a Carey-Burger or 2. My Prayers go out to you now. I realize our friendship fell away, however, I thought of her often. I know she loved you all very much.
