James Andrew Obituary

DORSEY – James Milton Andrew, at age 60, transformed to the next realm on Monday, March 3, 2025, from NMMC in Tupelo. Born in Osceola, Ark. on Sept. 30, 1964 to the late Milton Andrew and Elizabeth "Betty" West Andrew, James spent most of his adult life in the Dorsey Community of Itawamba County. He graduated from Blytheville High School in Blytheville, Ark and spent most of his working life as an over the road truck driver. Born with a dry wit and an inquisitive mind, James was an uncomplicated man who lived for his family. He loved all genres of music and was a junk collector and car enthusiast. He was a longtime member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Tupelo. A time of visitation will be held between the hours of 1 PM-3 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. There will be a graveside committal service at Pontocola Cemetery. Condolences may be posted on his memorial page at hollandfuneraldirectors.com. James is survived by his son, Tyler Andrew (Julisa), his daughter, Raini Nicole Andrew (Ian) all of Dorsey; his children's mother, Amy Leigh Andrew of Dorsey; PaPaw's little granddaughter, Phoenix (Fenny) whom he referred to as "the baby." He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Betty Andrew, and his brothers, John Andrew and Scott Davis. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
