John Sullivan Obituary
Mr. Sullivan was born November 3, 1946, in Rochester, New York, the son of the late Bernard and Marion Sullivan.
He was an Air Force retiree, serving for over 20 years, as well as a Navigator/Bombardier in the Vietnam war. He was awarded several medals, including the Outstanding Unit Ward with Valor, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife, Patricia Sullivan, of Starkville, two sons, Chris Sullivan of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and Shawn Sullivan (Cyndi) of Starkville, and two daughters, Susan Norman and Anna Sullivan, both of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is also survived by three grandchildren – Abby Sullivan of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Alex Norman of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Margaret Ann Sullivan of Starkville.
Mr. Sullivan loved his family and had a passion for reading, watching sports, and listening to music.
Visitation will be at Welch Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25 from 5PM to 7PM. There will be a private family service to follow.
