Kathleen R. (Jacob) Weidner, 81, of Oley, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Country Meadows with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Wayne R. Weidner, with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Loretta (Witman) Jacob. Kathy graduated from Boyertown Area High School and later worked as an accountant for Robert Wren Accounting and Specialty Design. Kathy was a member of Friedens U.C.C., Oley. She loved her family first and foremost, and spent her free time singing, quilting, doing challenging puzzles, and golfing around the country with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by her children; Randy Weidner, husband of Dawn, of Wyomissing, and Kristin Allen, wife of Joseph, of Wyomissing. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Samuel Weidner, Katherine Boyle, wife of Tyler, Emily Weidner, Caroline Allen, and Elizabeth Allen, wife of Sam Botterbusch, as well as her brother, Robert Jacob, husband of Carol, and her sister Mary Ann Eshleman, wife of John. Kathleen was preceded in death by her infant son and daughter.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Country Meadows and Grane Hospice for their love and care.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Friedens U.C.C., 337 Main Street, Oley PA 19547. In lieu of flowers contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org or Friedens U.C.C. at the above address.
