Robert Fair Obituary
Robert Lewis Fair, Sr., beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love of those who cherished him most on November 23, 2025. A man of unwavering spirit and heartfelt sincerity, Robert lived a life full of laughter, honesty, and a deep devotion to the people around him.
Robert was born on April 11, 1962, in Tupelo, MS, to the late George Jr. and Gussie Fair. He accepted Christ into his life at Popular CME Church, where he became a dedicated and faithful member. His commitment to his faith remained strong until his health no longer allowed him to attend. His church family remembers him as warm, joyful, and unwaveringly genuine-an example of living with purpose and grace.
In his younger years, Robert's athletic talents shined brightly. He played football, basketball, and ran track, earning recognition and being featured numerous times in the local paper. His natural energy, competitive spirit, and love for movement were evident both on and off the field. He attended Union City High School and was employed at United Van Lines until his health failed.
Robert truly enjoyed people. He was often considered the life of the party-never shying away from the spotlight and always eager to bring a smile to someone's face. His mission in life seemed simple yet powerful: to make others laugh. With a quick wit and a bold, brutally honest sense of humor, he had a way of lighting up any room he entered.
He adored his family with all his heart. Whether he was fishing, cooking, watching football, dancing, or spending time with family and friends playing games, Robert found joy in togetherness. He never met a stranger; everyone he encountered became either a friend or a lasting memory.
Robert Fair, Sr., leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and authenticity. His vibrant spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
