BARBARA ANN (JENKINS) BRILLHART 96, of Scott Depot, WV passed away November 2, 2025, at Hubbard House in Charleston after a short illness.
She was born August 6, 1929 on Kanawha Two Mile in Charleston, WV and was the daughter of the late Mont and Ruby Harrison Jenkins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis 'Cleo' Brillhart; and brothers: Tom and John Jenkins.
Barbara was a 1947 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. She was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed canning, sewing, reading, and going to the beach. She was a faithful Christian, life of the party, always playing pranks, smiling and laughing, loved playing cards with her family, and enjoyed staying up late to watch the Cincinnati Reds play ball. She attended Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her sons: David Brillhart and his wife, Donna, Daniel Brillhart and his wife, Diana, and Dana Brillhart; and her daughter, Deanna 'Susie' Cunningham. She had nine grandchildren, Danette Brillhart Stewart, David Scott Brillhart and his wife, Jerra, Danyelle Brillhart Schoonmaker, Danissa Brillhart, Darren Brillhart and his wife, Ruby, Lisa Cunningham, Scott Cunningham, Andy Brillhart and his wife, Shauna (Lasagna) and Jonathan Brillhart and his wife, Tabby; sister-in-law, Jackie Jenkins. Barbara had twenty great-grandchildren, Zackery Brillhart, Kendra Wade and her husband, Nathaniel, Olivia Leadman, Kailey Fox, Mallory Leadman and Rob DeWitt, Sarah Brillhart, Amanda Brillhart, Klayton LeMaster, Kierson Cunningham, Brayden Green, Corinthia Cunningham, Riley Beth Brillhart, Colton Green, Blaze Brillhart, Remi Brillhart, Jack Brillhart, Tyler and his wife, Angel Lambert, Kaiden Schoonmaker, Joseph Wagner, and Michelle Johnson and her husband, Roger. She also has nine great-great-grandchildren, Braxton and Braylee Lucas, Aleister Brillhart, Eli DeWitt, Anslee and Bo Lambert, Neva Wagner, Colton and Allen Johnson.
Barbara's Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene, 3937 Teays Valley Road Hurricane, WV with Rev. Charles V. "Sonny" Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Cross Lanes, WV.
Friends may visit the family an hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on 2 West at WVU Thomas Hospital for their amazing care and support. Also, a special thank you to Pastor Sonny for years of friendship and always making time to visit with her.
