Betty June Hoffman

BETTY JUNE HOFFMAN 89 of Cannelton West Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 21, 2025. Born on June 2, 1936, to Noah and Effie Keith. Betty was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother to five generations.
Betty was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years James, "Jimmy" Hoffman her son Brian Hoffman, her parents, Noah and Effie Keith and her brother's, Jack Keith and Jim Keith.
She is survived by her children, Vicky Roat, of Cannelton, West Virginia, and James "Jim" Hoffman Jr. (Patricia) of Montgomery, West Virginia and daughter-in-law Wanda Hoffman of Kernersville, North Carolina. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Crystal Sodder (Billy), Cyndi Shaffer (David), and Jamie Hoffman along with 16 great and great great grandchildren with one more blessing on the way. Her sister-in-law, Peggy Keith and brother-in-law Gene Phillips.
Betty was a faithful member of Carbondale Baptist Church, where she loved worshipping and singing for the Lord. She loved riding the bus and going to the senior citizen center in Smithers WV where she enjoyed singing and playing games and hanging out with her friends.
We want to give a special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at Vandalia health (General) for taking such special care of our mom and her special nurse Brianna and her special home nurse Rachael Irvin and everyone at Hubbard hospice house.
Services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Carbondale Baptist Church in Cannelton, West Virginia at 1 p.m., with our pastor William Jeffrey Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park in London, West Virginia friend and family may call one hour prior to the service.
O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery, West Virginia is in charge of arrangements.
