Charles Moss Obituary
Charlie bled blue and gold, and was very pleased that WVU delivered a win against Pitt this season. He was also a proud member of the Al Bundy fan club and a devoted Parrothead. We believe he could not exist in a world without Jimmy Buffett, so that is why Charlie made his departure soon after Mr. Buffett did.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, following WVU sports, and wearing shorts in the winter.
Charlie was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Mary Carpenter & Wanda Moss; grandfather, Clayton Moss; and father, Gary A. "PeeWee" Moss.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amie Moss; children: Samuel Clayton Moss, Sean Patrick Moss, Emilee & Shelby Lacy; step-son Andrew Snyder and family (who always held a special place in Charlie's heart); his mother, Debbie Moss; sister, Sara Cardenas (Shawn); grandfather, Charles Carpenter; niece, Kailee Cardenas; nephew, Clayton Cardenas; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many co-workers and friends he has made over the years.
A Memorial Service for Charlie will be 1:00 pm Saturday September 30, 2023 at Chapman Funeral Home Hurricane, WV.
Friends may visit the family an hour prior to the service.
Please do not send flowers. We mentioned in our dad (Gary's) obituary that there is not a soul in this family that can keep plants alive. This is still true, three years later.

Make sure to wear blue and gold, and be prepared to sing "Country Roads" and/or (if you're lucky), "Sweet Caroline."
