Charlotte Meadows Obituary
CHARLOTTE RUTH MEADOWS (McGRAW), 86, of Charleston, daughter of the late Claude and Olive McGraw of Winifrede, passed away Wednesday, August 21st, 2025, at Complete Care at Oak Ridge.
She loved the Lord and had helped pastor several churches with her husband in the Kanawha Valley.
Charlotte was also a very passionate quilter, and her quilts have been displayed at various libraries and the Cultural Center.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband James Meadows, Siblings, Leonard and Charles McGraw.
Surviving, daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Keith Maynard; grandchildren, Rachel Maynard, Carter Maynard and his wife Eugenie; and great-grandson Wyatt Maynard; Siblings, Loretta Wells, Betty Mullins, and Bill McGraw.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2025, at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview, W.Va., with Rev. John Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Visitation will be held from 12 - 1 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Hafer Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the wonderful Health care workers who helped care for Charlotte.

Dear Sara Lynn and family: I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Charlotte was a very special aunt who had great patience, perseverance, love and talents. I will always remember Christmases at our house with Aunt Charlotte, Aunt Loretta and Aunt Betty and their husbands. We had great times spent with family, which is slowly dwindling. We will all get to celebrate Christmases in heaven once again some day. Go rest high on that mountain Aunt Charlotte with Uncle James, Grandmother McGraw and brothers Leonard (my dad), and Charles.
