David Hobbs Obituary
DAVID HOBBS, 75, of Bomont, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 6, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harden & Barbara Hobbs; brothers, Author Hobbs, Thomas Hobbs, Lonnie Hobbs, James Hobbs, Moses Hobbs, and Peachie Hobbs; sisters, Orphia Casto, Anne Casto, and Jenny Derrix.
David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, rabbit hunting, and dog trade. He loved being around family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Hobbs of Bomont; daughters, Angel Myles and (Rick), and Stephanie Coleman and (Bruce) of Bomont; brother, Damon Hobbs; sister, Cora Hall; nephews, Mark Leftwich, Paul Leftwich, Steve Leftwich, Timmy Hobbs, Joseph Leftwich, Morgan Holcomb; step-son, Dillon Short; and several grandkids and great-grandkids.
A service will begin 2 p.m., Thursday, Janurary 11, 2024 at Hafer Funeral Home, with Pastor Timothy Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Hobbs Family Cemetery, of Bomont.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are in the care of Hafer Funeral Home, 50 N Pinch Rd Elkview, WV 25071.

When he lived at Witcher Creek where the archery range used to be he lived in a little house with my aunt Mary Hobbs ,that´s the first time I remember seeing David , Fly high David Hobbs. Your nephew Phillip Atkinson
