Earl Lee Foster

EARL LEE FOSTER, 81, of South Charleston departed this life Friday, November 28, 2025 at WVU Medicine Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 6, 1944 in South Charleston, WV. Son of the late, Martha Annabelle Foster. Also preceding him in death are three brothers, Jimmy, Edward and Noble Foster; one sister, Connie Boyd. Earl was an assistant manager with the South Charleston Sanitary Board where he retired. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Kanawha City and a lifetime benefactor member of the NRA. He was a good man, who loved his family. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 61 years, Katherine Lee (Elmore) Foster; children, Richard Foster (Gracen) and Drema Foster; brother, Melvin Foster (Kim); sister, Ada Carte; grand-dogs, Jake, Charlie and Bentley as well as a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Good Shepherd Mortuary with Pastor Gary Hall officiating. Earl will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston following the service.
Family and friends will gather for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
