Emily Burdette Obituary
November 7, 1931 - October 15, 2025
EMILY ELIZABETH "LIBBY" BURDETTE, age 93, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at Rolling Meadows Assisted Living in Scott Depot.
Libby is survived by her son, Mike (Anne), Hayley Burdette, DDS (Richard Knapp, MD), Clay (Destiny), and Nathan (Maranda); and daughter Debbie Dearien (Steve), Lindsey Yost (Jason), and Meredith; and Beth Nicely (Nick), Brittany Beakes (Jeff) and Clifton Gibson (Amber). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Libby is also survived by her brother, Thomas "Tom" Kinder (Mary).
A celebration of Libby's life will be held at Cooke Funeral Home in Nitro on November 7 with visitation from Noon to 1:30 p.m. and service to follow. Pastor Pete Thompson will officiate the service.
