I met Brother Skip about three years ago, and after sharing a conversation about how remarkable Lisa is, we became friends for life. Brother Skip had a genuine love for conversation and was always easy to talk to, and I cherished every moment we shared-even those brief conversations on Lisa´s phone while she was taking him to a doctor´s appointment. He was exceptionally intelligent and thoughtful, with a deep love for photography and for HBCUs.
May his soul rest in peace and may the God of all comfort surround and sustain the family during this season of bereavement. May they be reminded that in every crisis, there is Christ.

I met Skip through Gene and Lisa.
Right away we started talking about train rides and traveling, among other things. He left a deep impression on me and I'm truly grateful to have met him. May the gates of heaven be wide open to receive home RIP my friend, you will be missed.

Skip Davis was the most kind hearted man I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I love to talk with him. He was very intelligent and interesting man. I am proud to be his Son-in- Law. I loved to talk with him. I will truly miss him!
