HOWARD WOODROW MORRIS JR., 88 of Ravenswood passed away Wednesday November 18, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV.
He was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local Union 5668. He was proud to have worked in the coal mines for several years. He was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Belcher Morris, parents Howard and Catherine Moss Morris, one brother Eli Morris and 4 sisters, Patsy, Sharon, Nancy and Jackie.
He is survived by his son, Howard Morris, daughters, Tracy and Sarah, brothers, John and Wayne Morris and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of extended family members and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 22 at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Old Fort Street, Cedar Grove, WV 25039. Burial will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, WV with military graveside rites.
Visitation will be one prior to the service at the funeral home Saturday.
