James Pritt Obituary
JAMES "JIM" FLETCHER PRITT, SR., 87 of South Charleston, WV., went to be with his true love, Geraldine Mae (Melton) Pritt May 30, 2023.
Born April 9, 1936, a son of the late Fletch and Ella Pritt. Also preceding him in death are granddaughter, Alyssa Daniels; son in law, Bemis Baldwin, Sr.; two sisters, Carrie Atkins and Ann Young.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving children, James Pritt, Jr. (Kendra), Kathy Baldwin and Debbie Daniels (Rob); grandchildren, Bemis, Jr., Nicole, Ashley (Derek), Hunter (Haley), Jordan (Ashton); great grandchildren, Danica, Bentley and Brylee; two sisters, Phyllis Holley and Brenda Hoover; cousin, Delmer Pritt; one special person Jim claimed as his brother, Max Lockard.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 24, 2023 at Good Shepherd Mortuary with Rick Pursley officiating. Jim will be laid to rest at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends and family will gather one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
Good Shepherd Mortuary - 335 Fifth Avenue, South Charleston, WV 25303 is assisting the family with arrangements.

Your Father was a Charleston Policeman with my Dad they became friends before that when your Father worked at Harley Davidson in Charleston.He was such a wonderful man. I am so sorry for your loss.

Uncle Jim, you will be missed. I will never forget all the good times as a young man on Tyler mountain, especially when you would pick me up at the bottom of the hill after work and put me on the tank of your motorcycle for a ride to the top. You made a little boy feel very special. Go rest high, until we meet again.
