Jo Long Obituary
She was born June 8, 1935 in Charleston, daughter of the late Henry and Lilly Proctor Patton. She owned and managed the Stop and Shop in Goldtown for 25 years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed being with her family and spending time with her dogs.
She is survived by her children, William Ray (Jeanie) Long, Sandy (Mike) Legg and Debbie (Ricky) Boggess; she is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her oldest son, Clayton Long and by three brothers.
In honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and no public service is scheduled. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.
