Jo Ann Richards Mallory

JO ANN RICHARDS MALLORY, of South Charleston, WV, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, and is waiting the return of our lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born October 15, 1931.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Mallory, of whom she was married to for 72 years, and her son Mike Mallory. She is survived by her three children, Rick (Kim) Mallory, Craig (Keli) Mallory, and Kim (Scott) Bodolosky. She had 6 grandchildren: Ricky, Michael, Kristina, Mallory, Anna, and Brenton. She had 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Jo worked at Mallory's Grocery for 20 years, and did the accounting for the store and for Mallory Airport. She enjoyed water aerobics at the South Charleston Recreation Center for 20 years and all of the friendships she made there. Jo loved God with all her heart and was a woman of prayer. Her sense of humor, wise counsel, and impacting prayer life will be missed by her family.
A memorial service to Honor the Life of Jo will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston. Family and friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service. Jo was privately laid to rest next to her husband in the Mallory Family Cemetery on Spring Hill Mountain.
