John Eskew Obituary


JOHN W. ESKEW 79 of Cedar Grove passed away Wednesday August 7, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Division Charleston after a short illness.
John was a retired heavy equipment operator for Cannelton Coal Co. for over 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother Reba Eskew Green. And several other family members.
Surviving wife Mona Eskew and his children Ronda, Billie Jo and Buffy. And a host of other family members and friends. John was a retired member of the BOTW Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed Four Wheeling Motorcycles and Boating and his Love for the Lord.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Old Fort St. Cedar Grove 25039, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Cooke Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

John there! What a man. Spent a lot of time with him on Straight Creek. Many good rides back in the day. Made some great memories. Love and peace to all who knew him. RIP ole legend.
