John Gilbert Tetoff

JOHN GILBERT TETOFF, 80 of Seth has gone to Heaven. He was born on June 14, 1945 and died at home on December 9, 2025.
He retired from E.I. Dupont, Belle Plant after 32 years of service and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran where he served as an airplane mechanic during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Hawaii and worked out of Hawaii, Guam and Australia for six years before continuing his service in Charleston at the Air National Guard for the final two years of his enlistment.
John was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Helen Curry Tetoff, sister: Donna, brother: Marty and grandson: Jerod Hall.
Surviving are his brothers: Frankie (Peggy), Ernie and Michael "Mook" (Sheila) Tetoff, children: Lisa (Kevin) Bibbee-Johnson, Lori (Steve) Hall and J.C. (Sherry) Tetoff and their mom: Drema Tetoff, grandchildren: Jordan (Carla) Bibbee, Seth (Lindsay) Bibbee, Michael (Paige) Hall and Lexi (Griffin Kuhn) Hall, great grandchildren: Violet, Jack and Tommy Bibbee and Ellie and Evie Hall who will be born at the end of January. John was blessed with bonus children: Michelle Reed, Misty Painter, and Myles (Jessie) French as well as bonus grandchildren: Blake Whitt, Kali and Wyatt French, Isaiah and Samuel Reed, many nieces and nephews and John's special love, Mischa Reveal. They dated in high school and then went their separate ways only to find each other again on Facebook. They made each other happy and enjoyed spending time together.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday December 12, 2025 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Gene Brooks officiating. Entombment will follow at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
