He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Hamrick, Jr.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Rhodes Hamrick; mother, Ophelia Sams Hamrick; brothers, Greg Hamrick, Jeff (Debbie) Hamrick; niece, Laura (Mark) Dyer, great niece, Carlynn
He was a member of Grace Baptist Temple where he served as an usher along with lawn and building maintenance. Joseph was a diesel mechanic by trade and enjoyed wood working. He was a 1980 graduate of St. Albans High School and Ben Franklin Career Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Dean officiating. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
