Kathy McVey Obituary

KATHY SUE McVEY, 72, of LeRoy, WV, passed away on November 16, 2025 at Elizabeth Care Center in Elizabeth, WV.
She was born on February 27, 1953, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late John Walter and Lavina Elizabeth Madison Stallings.
Kathy retired from Walmart as a department manager.
She is survived by her husband, Danny, whom she married on September 30, 1972; her son, Chad (Christina); grandsons, Noah and Landon; sisters, Bonnie Gaylor (Chuck), Diane Harvey; brother, Michael Nutter (Brenda); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly Ann Stallings; brothers, Ronald and Donald Nutter.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1 p.m., at Independent Fellowship Church in Ravenswood with Pastors Allen Stewart and Enoch Pursley officiating. Friends may visit the family at the church on Wednesday from 11 am to 1 p.m, time of service. Burial will follow in Center Valley Cemetery in LeRoy, WV.
