Kevin Carte Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our brother, KEVIN MARSHALL "HUEY" CARTE on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Kevin lived his childhood and most of his life up Three Mile in Blue Creek. He was 58 years young.
We find great comfort in knowing that while Kevin had been receiving the best medical care possible, he passed peacefully and pain-free, with members of his family surrounding him.
Kevin was the fifth of five children born on July 5, 1966, to the late Arnette Carte and Ellen Truman Carte of Blue Creek. In addition to our parents, he will be joined by sister Vickie and brother Teddy, as well as his long-time four-legged companion, Maddy.
Kevin is survived by his loving sister Joy Carte-Perry and her husband Donnie Perry of Pinch, as well as his brother Danny Carte and his wife Judy of Blue Creek. In addition, Kevin is survived by grandchildren, Chance, Destiny and Makenna, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview, followed by a graveside service, officiated by Steve Arbogast at the Hall Cemetery (Warner Plot), immediately after.
