Linda Boggess Obituary

Linda Boggess, 75 of Sissonville passed away June 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at Hubbard House.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Hoyte and Orpha Burford, and sister, Joyce Beckett.

Linda loved the beach, her dogs, but mostly her immediate family. She loved her kitchen gadgets and you never knew what would come in the mail. She loved watching hummingbirds. She loved keeping recipes, but never cooked them. She did, however, make the same 5 things amazingly, without flaw.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth , son Kenny (Nancy) of Cross Lanes, granddaughters Brittney Lassiter (DJ) of Dunbar, Ashley Roberts (Austin) of Alum Creek, Genna Morganroth of Morgantown, and grandson, Jackson Boggess of Cross Lanes. Brothers Charles Burford (Verna) of Charleston, and John Burford (Kim) of Sissonville.

The family would like to extend our gratitude and utmost respect to Hospice Hubbard House and the care she received during her last days.

There will be no services.

There will be a celebration of life at a later day.
