Mary Ellen Agosti

MARY ELLEN AGOSTI, 88, of Poca, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2025, in the Hubbard Hospice House.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted member of Harmons Creek Church of the Nazarene and loved the Lord with all of her heart. Her joy shone brightest when she was singing and sharing music about the Lord with her family and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Jack Agosti, whom she was lovingly married to for 50 years; her mother, Leola Ball; and sisters, Nancy Hinzeman and Linda Thomas.
She is survived by her children Mary (Bobby) Carter, Jack (Vickie) Agosti, Michael Agosti, and Eddie (Tamara) Agosti; sisters Janet Agosti and Belle Williams; brother Sam Ball; sister at heart Wanda Layne; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Hubbard Hospice House for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Mary. A special thank you is also given to her niece, Pam Hinzeman Quinn, for the loving care and sacrificial time she dedicated to Mary.
A tribute to the life of Mrs. Mary Agosti will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens, Red House. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
