Norma Landers Obituary

Norma Maxine Landers, 91, of Charleston passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was born on June 15, 1932 to the late Gilbert and Minerva Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Ray Landers, daughter Tammy Lynn Landers, brothers Jim Jenkins, and Robert Jenkins, sisters Irene Proffitt, and Narvella Dixon, and great-granddaughter Kaylee Matlock.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Dawn Matlock (Steve), Robert Landers, Karen Beane (Noble "Chico"), and former daughter-in-law Lola Harmon, grandchildren Emily Landers of Sissonville, Christina Mitchell (Brandon) of Fayette, PA, Brian Matlock of Sissonville, Sean Matlock of Sissonville, and Joshua Matlock of Sissonville, and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to CAMC Family Medicine Center, Dr. Jeffery Ashley, Dr. Bowman, Dolly, Steve and Staff.

In keeping with Norma's wishes, she will be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time.
