Rachael Renee Bostic

RACHAEL RENEE (NEE LEWIS) BOSTIC, of Dunbar, WV passed away at the age of 44, and went to be with her Savior on October 28, 2025. She had fought hard through kidney disease and other health issues, and was winning these battles, but succumbed to unexpected natural causes. She went to school at Calvary Baptist Academy in Hurricane, WV from kindergarten through graduation, where she played volleyball and scored in the top 1% of the ACT. She graduated with a degree in mathematics education from Cedarville University in 2003. After a few years as an educator in NC and WV, she began working at the WV State Tax Division, where she was a supervisor at the time of her passing.
She was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church in Ona, WV, and a long-time member and choir director at Grace Baptist Temple in St. Albans. She also was a frequent soloist and group singer at her church. She was strong and loved God, a loving mother and wife, smart, and a good singer (great according to some).
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Mike Bostic and young son Josiah Bostic, her parents Tom and Sue Lewis, her brother Nathan Lewis and sister-in-law Abigail Lewis, eight nieces and nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
Viewing services will be held Saturday, Nov. 8 at Grace Baptist Temple in St. Albans from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m., followed by internment at Enon Cemetery in Salt Rock, WV.
