Robert Franklin "Bob" Cristee

ROBERT "BOB" FRANKLIN CRISTEE, 84, of South Charleston departed this life Sunday, December 17, 2023, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
Bob was born April 3, 1939, in Columbus, OH. A son of the late Wellington D. and Ethel L. (Carroll) Cristee. Also preceding him in death are daughter, Beverly Jean Cristee and sister, Elaine Carole Deily.
Bob worked as a Locomotive Engineer until retiring from Conrail Railroad in 2001 after 43 years of loyal service.
He was a former member of the Antique Automobile Club where he proudly displayed his 1929 Plymouth coupe at car shows. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bluegrass music and traveling the beautiful state of West Virginia.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Ann (Childress) Cristee; daughters, Darlene Burns-Boone (Richard) and Tina Brough (Chad); brother, Dave Cristee (Greta); grandchildren, Shaun Marshall, Adam Blankenship, Scott Blankenship, Jason Blankenship and Scotty Brough; seven great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Darlene and Tina would like to thank mom and dad's neighbors, the Graggs (Debbie) for their help and kindness. It was a great comfort to know they were always a phone call away and came to dad's rescue several times.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
