Ruthann Dorsey Obituary
RUTHANN McDANIEL DORSEY went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2025, following a brief illness.
She is survived by her children Thomas Marshall Dorsey (Angie) of Shelby, NC and Ann Margaret Ammons (Todd) of Greer, SC. Grandchildren Taylor Alexander Ammons, Ian Marshall Ammons (Allie). Sister Betty Jo Dodson (Wally) of Rome, GA. Ruthann was born and raised in Nitro, WV.
The daughter of the late Vallie Easter & Clarence McDaniel. She retired from Prestera at CAMC General Hospital. Ruthann was a progressive thinker who admired modern Medicine and revered civil liberties while maintaining a devout Christian faith. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
A Celebration of Ruthann's life will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel 2002-20th St. Nitro, WV 25143.
