William Rooke Obituary

William Carter Rooke, William Carter Rooke, 79, of St. Albans, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Born on October 16, 1945, William spent much of his adult life in Baltimore, Maryland, where he built lasting friendships and a meaningful career. After many years there, he retired to Milton, Delaware, where he enjoyed a quieter pace of life before returning to West Virginia in his later years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ralph Eugene Rooke and Thelma Louise Rooke, along with his brother Ralph Eugene Rooke, Jr. William is survived by his wife, Patricia Rooke; his sons, Mark Rooke and Richard Rooke; and his granddaughters, Jessica Rooke and Kristyn Rooke.

William will be remembered for his kindness, steady presence, and deep love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
