Edna Mozell Parker

Edna Mozell Clyburn Parker, 87 of Princeton died Sunday, June 29, 2025 at her residence. Born March 10, 1938 in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Joseph Seebert Clyburn and Maggie Matilda Thompson Clyburn. Edna was a graduate of Oakvale High School and was retired from the Mercer County Clerk's Office in Princeton with twenty-two years service. She was a member of the Memorial Church of Christ in Princeton and was the church pianist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Clyburn and Bertha Pettrey and husband Grayson Pettrey; one niece, Yvonne Pettrey; and former husbands, William Ferguson and Virgil Smith. Survivors include two sons, William "Billy" Ferguson, Jr. and wife Jeanie of Roanoke, VA and Joseph Ferguson and wife Cheryl of Ogden, Utah; one daughter, Crystal Bennett and fiancé Tim Lundy of Princeton; four grandchildren, Leigh Anne Beale and husband Daniel, James Ferguson and wife Paula, Ethan Bennett, and Jaxon Smith; one sister, Patty Meadows and husband Jimmy of Rich Creek, VA; special nieces, Vicky Earthman and husband Andy, Sarah Beth Spencer and husband Ray, and Amy Whitlow Dunn; and one great niece, Savannah Spencer. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 7, 2025 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Frienda may call at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour on Monday.
