Jack "Squibb" Walker Jr

Jack "Squibb" Walker Jr, 58, of Iaeger, WV passed away at his home October 22, 2025. Squibb was born December 20, 1966 in Welch, WV, a son of the late Jack and Josephine Mullins Walker. Squibb served for four years in the United States Army. He was employed for 17 years at the Stevens Correctional Center in Welch, currently serving as a sergeant. Squibb was an avid Ford Mustang enthusiast and loved Nas Car, hunting, fishing, collectibles and gaming. Squibb was preceded in death by his parents Jack Sr and Josephine Walker. Survivors include three brothers, Teddy (Deborah) Walker of Lincolnton, NC, Allen (Jennifer) Walker of Gallatin, TN and Michael (Nikki) Walker of Marion, VA; several nieces and nephews; his work family from Stevens Correctional Center and numerous friends. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 o'clock, Wednesday, October 29, 2025 with Chaplin Darrell Christian officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the McDowell County Humane Society Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
