James Woodrum Obituary

James Edward "Boo" Woodrum, 65, of Princeton passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at his residence. Born February 4, 1960 in Mullens, WV he was the son of the late Raymond Woodrum, Sr. and Mary Ann Burton Woodrum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Hypes Woodrum; two brothers, Raymond Woodrum, Jr. and Paul Woodrum; and four sisters, Betty Mullens, Patricia Matthews, Sandra Palmer, and Darlene Woodrum Johnson. James was of the Pentecostal faith. Before retirement he worked on roofing and construction. He is survived by one sister, Terry Whittaker and husband Keith of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate James' life will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Reverend Lewis Arnold officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour on Thursday.
