Loretta Faye Cadle

Loretta Faye Cadle, 91, of Grassy Meadows, passed away at the Peyton Hospice House after a long illness on October 30, 2025. She was born on December 19,1933, to the late Yandal Fisher and Osalee Boggess in Charleston. Loretta worked for Russell Stover Candies and several other candy suppliers for many years. She worked her way up from sales representative to store manager. Loretta also worked as a regional sales representative for a wholesale drug company in the 1970's. She worked to help provide for her family, all the while, being a devoted wife to Ray and loving mother to Kenneth. Loretta was a worker. She kept the house clean, cooked, and worked full time. As her mother, and Ray's mother aged, she was a caregiver for them. After Ray had his stroke, she became his primary caregiver all the while taking care of Ray's mother as well. Loretta fought a courageous battle that she won against breast cancer later on. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ray of sixty-seven years. Her son Kenneth is her only surviving relative. He and her church family and friends will cherish her memories. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:00pm at Maude Chapel Church in Grassy Meadows. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm until the time of the service.
