Opal Patrick Obituary

JAMESTOWN — Opal M. Patrick, 87 of Jamestown, Ohio passed away Wednesday March 07, 2018 at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia. She was born in Paintsville, Kentucky, to Bert and Lily Mae (Robinson) Cassel. Opal married Joe H. Patrick, in Paintsville, on August 23, 1948. She was a member if IPCC Women's Ministries (Helping Hand Club). Opal is survived by her husband, Joe H. Patrick; son, Daniel Ray Patrick (Rebecca), grandson, Shane L. Patrick; 5 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother Bert Cassel; 4 sisters: Barbara Cassel Hackley, Florence Cassel Williams, Connie Cassel (David Getty), Lanna Kay Cassel Blair; numerous nieces and nephews, including, Eric Rieck. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Lily Cassel; son, Randel Joe Patrick; 2 brothers, William Cassel, David Cassel; 2 sisters, Fanny Cassel Hatten and Shirley Cassel Cooper. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 12, 2018 at 1:00 P.M at Powers-Kell Funeral Home in Jamestown, where friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Eric Rieck will be officiating. Burial will follow at Silvercreek II Cemetery in Jamestown. Condolences to Opal's family may be made to: www.powerskell.com.
