XENIA — Thomas Daniel Glotfelter, age 85, of Xenia, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Hospitality Homes, Xenia. He was born September 27, 1928 in Montgomery County, the son of Clay and Bess R. (Overholser) Glotfelter. Tom retired from Ohio Bell where he had been a PBX installer. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Anna Black, Bill, Clyde and Eugene Glotfelter, Betty Corwin and Juanita Glotfelter. He is survived by his wife: Irma Evelyn (Jenkins) Glotfelter, whom he married on July 31, 1976; children: Thomas Wade Glotfelter of Dayton, Brian Lee Glotfelter of Washington Court House, Debra Jane (Jack) Barnett of Pataskla, step children: Nedra Ann (Steven) Preston of Naples Florida and Elana Cheryl (Jim) Shanks of Xenia, several grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be held at the convenience of his family. Memorial contribution may be made in Tom's name to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 990 Old Springfield Pike, Xenia or Vitas Hospice.
