Gloria Mattice Obituary
RHINEBECK- Gloria Mattice died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. She was 89 years old.
Born April 5, 1025 in Kingston, she was the daughter of Ralph and Eva Taylor Kiff. Her husband, Erwin Mattice pre-deceased her on Jan. 1, 1969. A graduate of Kingston High School, Gloria was very active with her reunion committees.
Survivors include her son, Gordon of Accord; eight grandchildren, Tonya Valk and Tara Alexander of Saugerties, John Mattice of Kingston, Gordon and Theodore Mattice of Cobbleskill, and Walter Spinks, Ian Mattice and Lira Spinks all of N.Y.C.; and her sister, Nancy Terwilliger of Stone Ridge. Eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Suzanne Mattice; and her brother, Ralph Kiff.
Cremation was private and a graveside service is planned at Wiltwyck Cemetery in the Spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties.
