Rembert Jones Obituary

Rembert Oscar Jones "Rem", age 73, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 16, 1952, in Aiken County, he was the son of the late Henry Milton Jones and Elizabeth Brown Jones. Rembert was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Milton Jones Jr., and Stephen Wayne Jones, as well as his father-in-law, Charles Wesley Fowler, and brother-in-law, Christopher S. Culvern. A proud graduate of Clemson University, Rembert earned his degree in business in 1975 and went on to have a successful career as an industrial sales representative. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Rembert was a member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church. Above all, Rembert cherished his time with family, particularly his granddaughters, whom he adored. Rembert is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Beatrix Fowler Jones; his daughter, Caroline Jones Smith (Russell); and his beloved granddaughters, Charlotte Elizabeth Smith and Carter Lillian Smith. He is also survived by his sister, Kathryn Jones Culvern (Kathy); mother-in-law, Hannelore H. Fowler; sisters-in-law, Teresa Fowler Kyle (Kevin) and Patty Sanders; brother-in-law, Michael Fowler (Laura); and a host of cherished nephews and nieces. Services will be held privately, the family graciously thanks everyone who has reached out.
