Coach Rill was my son's coach. He would pray with the kid's before games. Now that took guts in today's world. He always had a smile and a contagious enthusiasm. I am sure God had a special need for his soul. There is no other reason he would have gone so early. We were fortunate to have met him.

Coach Rill was so special to me. He walked on the field teaching us how to play football but walked off the field teaching us life lessons and how to be a man. He handled his business, and now when I think of all the things he has done and accomplished I cant believe he's gone. R.I.P. Coach Rill

Dear Rill Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I just learned of Andy's passing.
I knew Andy from 4-H and FFA many years ago. He had such an outgoing personality. I had lost touch with Andy over the years. Out of the blue I received a phone call to buy some straw from our farm. I took his name and realized this was the same Andy Rill that I knew years ago. We started to talk of old times and what we were doing now. He very proudly talked about Aaron and Abby. He said he was working on a farm and wanted to get more animals when they had the buildings and fences ready. He said he would like to get some cattle for the kids. He then told me about how he supports the FFA program. He has sponsored the pins for the Keystone Farmer Degrees for several years, I am quite honored to say my daughter recieved her Keystone Farmer Degree from Andy this past January. Andy was truly a very special person and will be missed by many. May God bless your family and may the many prayers help ease your pain.

My deepest sympathy to Andy's family. I met Andy in college and will always remember his smile and love of life. I got to see him again about a year ago at a mutual friend's house and could see he was the same Andy I knew in college. I will always have good memories of Andy. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time.

Coach Rill brought people together in life and in his passing. Attending the wake reminded me of how impactful our lives can be within our community. And the community certainly responded, in droves, on Thursday night. Andy's life is a lesson to us all, not to be afraid to put ourselves out there.

Dear coach rill and family,
The past two days have been hard for me speaking that I didn't get to go to the funeral after the viewing. But i have to say that only means that Rill had a positive impact on me and everyone else. We mourn his death because of how great of a man he was and how much he loved. I just read a quote that said,"When you can live forever, what do you live for? " And Rill lived not for just himself, but he lived to love everyone, care for everyone and to teach everyone. That is what kind of person everyone should strive to be because, as you see, it has a major impact on peoples lives. Again Coach Rill's passing has helped me see how much he cared for us and how much i care for him, it has helped me think a little harder about what kind of person I should be, and every time I think about it I always come out with being just like rill. He was always a blessing to be around and i will miss him dearly and for eternity.

My prayers are towards everyone who is something special to Mr, Andy Rill especially his two loving kids Aaron and Abby Rill.

Coach Rill was a great coach. I will always remember him as the most inspiring coach I have ever known. I am greatfull that I had the chance to be playing football for him. Who's your daddy. I will never forget that. You taught me how to work and how to become not only a football player, but a man. Coach Rill I will always miss you. I will work hard for you coach.

I only played football one year in 7th grade, but i know there isn't another coach in the world better than Coach Rill. He was always the one that kept everyone going with their grades, especially me when it got to be a lot of work. He was always the one that made me want to keep playing through the season even when the work got so much harder then any of my teams before. It's a horrible loss for everyone and he will be missed forever. Can't wait till I see you again in heaven big man.

Andy was one of the good guys, and we were proud to call him a friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. When our oldest daughter, Elizabeth, was a week old, she was rushed to the emergency room. We spent the next two+ weeks in the hospital. Household chores were put on hold. Andy brought the Wirehead staff to our house without our knowing and mowed the lawn and trimmed the bushes. We are all richer for knowing him.

I've had a personal experience with Mr. Rill as a football coach. He always made us get better. He was a fun football coach but more importantly, a great person. It tore my heart when I heard what happened to Coach Rill. Coach Rill helped every one of us become better people and football players. He helped us achieve goals that we've never imagined we could reach. You will be deeply missed in all of our hearts.... Coach Rill, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A PANTHER!!!!!!

Coach Rill, there isn't a lot of words that truely describe him. Incredible, yes. Compassionate, yes. But the one true word that really describes him is loving. Andy Rill was a second father to me. He coached me everyday on the line 7th and 8th grade. He taught me how to get that fire, how to do things with meaning. He always made sure that we were doing our best in everything we do, especially our school work. He always said he wanted to adopt me for a summer and make me work on his farm. I could honestly go on forever about this man. Everyone is upset and sad about his death but really when we think about it we should really celebrate how great of man he was and how caring he was to each and every person that came into his life. This man made me who I am today and I will never forget him as a coach, as a mentor and especially as a friend. We will all miss you very much.

I am sooo greatful that I had 13 years of my life with my dad. He was the best father anyone could ever hope for and believed in many people with great passion and love. He helped me with everything from sports to drama at school. I love him soo very much and can't even describe how proud I am to call him my father. I know with all my heart that he is watching over everyone and is even probably laughing at how everyone looks with make-up streaked down there faces and big puffy eyes like a bee sting. I see my dad in Aaron, wags the chickens, cats, and the everyday nature around us. He is in a very happy place and I hope with all my heart that when he looks down he likes what he see's. I am soo blessed to have this man as my father and am most proud of how he made a difference in so many people around me. I LOVE YOU!!! (And I will always be your one and only PEANUT)

Andy Rill was a great person, and it was truely an honor to get to know him and be friends with him. It was my pleasure to get to know Andy by being an assistant Coach to him at Central. He was great with the kids on and off of the football field. In any sport, when you are involved, you become family! And losing Andy is just like losing a brother. Andy was indeed a leader, and i'm just still in shock that God took such an amazing man. To the Rill family, I know Aaron and Abigail, and I want you 2 to know that I will always be here for you both no matter what! If you ever need anything at all, I'm just one phone call away! Aaron, you have my number you can pass it along to Abigail! My heart truely hurts for your entire family, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers through this hard time!
I Love You all

Andy Rill was one of the most inspiring man I ever met. I first met Andy because our daughters were friends at Central. Then I was fortunate to be trained on his WIreheadz Digital Dining system. What an experience to be around someone with such a love of life. He talked about his children and I saw personally one night how much the football players he coached adored him. Thoughts and prayers go out to his children, family and everyone who is grieving because Andy was taken too soon.

What a terrible loss for all! I was in shock when I got the news. I had the great opportunity to have Andy as a friend in high school. My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to his family & children!

I have worked and known Andy for nearly 4 years now, and I must say what a experience. He is clearly one of the most unique people I have ever met. He is a leader beyond any other. He was always someone more than a "boss" to me, and was always there if I ever needed a shoulder to lean on. But beyond anything other I will always remember how much he loved his kids, his family, and everyone close to him. There is nothing he wouldn't do for them, and he will be missed more than words can explain. My thoughts and prayers will always continue to be with and for his family.

March 23, 2010

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Andy's family, most importantly his kids, Aaron and Abby.

I've been working with Andy at Wirehead for just over three years. He hired me on the spot with no experience in sales or technology. His belief in people and their potential, along with his ability to "coach" in almost every aspect of life is one of the many things I will take with me.

He was never at a loss for words, whether they be words of wisdom, advice or support. He was renowned in the office for his one-liners and (almost always) ridiculously bad puns. He worked and played hard. He pushed everyone he knew to be better. And his world revolved around his kids.

You will be greatly missed, boss.... Rest in peace.

Coach Rill was a role model for tons of kids. I know him from football this year and I very sad he has passed. He was the kind of person who had a spring in in step and a twinkle in his eye. He was the kind of coach that was trying to teach you life lessons along with the sport. He always said he was my number one fan but what he didn't know is that I was also his. I regret not getting to know him better but through his great wisdom being only a team manager I learned so much from him. I have no doubt to if his memory will live on. It will.

Coach Rill was the one who contacted us to let us know our son, Josh, had broken his leg during football practice 2 yrs ago. He showed great kindness and compassion to us and kept our son calm till the ambulance arrived. He was the parent for us that day. He also went the "extra mile" and came to the emergency room and to the hospital after Josh's surgery to repair the leg fracture. Our family and especially our son Josh, have held Coach Rill in high regard and with great respect and will continue to do so. He will be sadly missed.

Rill Family,
I am so sorry and I am grieving right along with you. Your dad was a great man and I enjoyed being around him, the little time that I had the chance. When Abby moved to Northern, she seemed like a great girl, then when I met her family, she seemed even better. When you were around Mr. Rill he made you feel like a part of the family too. He was so full of life and it is a shame that his life had to end this way. This was a tragic and unexpected event and I wish there was more that I could do, or say. May the Lord be with you and take some of the pain away.
Love your dufus,

To Andy’s friends and relatives, I'm greatly sorry for the loss of who I knew to be a great man. Though we didn't know him well, my husband and I always looked forward to hassling him at the Koser's family functions about the Eagles and getting into in-depth conversations about sports. We considered him to be part of our family as well. Our thoughts are with everyone touched by Andy during this time of loss.

What a TRAGIC loss to the world, What an emptiness many of us are feeling NOW!! Andy is in heaven and is probably working on a way to make glory even a better place to be......That is what he did every where he went and with everyone he touched.
He was a dreamer and then a doer.
He was stern but compassionate.
He was a very hard worker but knew how to play just as hard.
He was tough as nails outside, but hurt easily inside.
He was always too busy, but found time for you if you needed him.
Variety was his essence.
His Kids were his life and he was SO PROUD of the young adults they are becoming!
He loved CAROLYN and the life they were sharing!
HE was taken from all of us way too soon, BUT
He made this world a better place for many of us while he was here!
Bonehead I will remember YOU forever.
