Ayden D. Zeigler-Kohler

Ayden Douglas Zeigler-Kohler, 10, entered into Heaven on March 22, 2017 at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with DIPG.
Born on February 13, 2007 in York, he was the son of Jennifer M. Zeigler and William E. Kohler, Jr.
Ayden was a fourth grade student at East York Elementary School. He participated in wrestling, football, lacrosse, and baseball. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ayden was in his element in the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Fondly known as "Buddy" to many, encouraged to "Never Give Up Buddy".

He lived for life not the disease.
He leaves to cherish his memory, mother Jennifer M. Zeigler; father, William E. Kohler, Jr. and step-mother, Cathy M. Kohler; siblings, Kayla M. Lentz, Alexandria D. Kohler, Arian W. Kohler, Chloe M. Bloom, Pearce M. Bloom; one niece; three nephews; grandparents, Bonnie Zeigler, Charlie Mohon, Jackie Kohler, James and Blanca Baker; aunts and uncle, Jen, Sher, Danny, Shaunta; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded by a grandfather, William Kohler, Sr.
A motorcycle escort will lead the procession to the fairgrounds from the funeral home at noon. A viewing will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the UTZ Arena (Eastside) at the York Fairgrounds. The Celebration of Life Services will begin at 5 p.m. As per Ayden's request, a time of dancing and fellowship to follow, please, causal attire, especially sports teams Jerseys or camo. Interment will be private. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York, is entrusted with the arrangements.
