Hello Grandma.. I miss you alot always thinking about you.. Kids are getting so big.. Everything is going good here Talk to Daddy everyday.. Probably going up to the house for Easter.. Its hard to be in the house sometimes because i always want to go in your room and see and talk to you but your not there and its not any easier.. Carmen's wedding was beautiful so glad we could go up for it... Hello Grandma just thought I would come write you and let you know how everyone is.. Butch is doing good and treating me right.. Kaiah is Good growing up so fast she started Kindergarten this year and she will be 6 The 2nd of Sept Levi WOW for going to be 5 he is almost bigger than Kaiah But he is doing good as well and he started Head start this Year ( Pre K ) Kids went and stayed at dads for a week he enjoyed having them he has not seen them since you past away He loved having them there.. It was very weird not having you there things just are not same anymore anyways enough sad I am doing good it was nice to see family i miss them alot I am going to go Tell Everyone up there i miss them and love them tons & keep watching over us everyday to help keep us safe Love u and miss you Grandma

Hey Mom, looks like it's been pretty quiet on here lately, so I thought I'd stop by and say hello. I'm in school right now, so I have to be brief. I'm sure you know I'm getting married Sept 13th! Can you believe it? Me either. HA. We are having a small wedding, nothing fancy or expensive, since we're pretty much doing everything ourselves. But, we're okay with that! Mollie is doing well, she has a brother named Banjo, and a sister named Maddie (a 6mo old labradoodle),... But Mollie pretty much runs the roost- SHOCKING... It's weird not having you there at my wedding, but I know you will be there in spirit, I'm having a memorial table for all of you who can't be there with us, seems like so many. Anyway, I hope you're happy with Pop, Gram, my dad and mom. We miss all of you very much!!

Hey grandma its just me.. I am taking a break from cleaning up after the Kids Haha and drinking some nice hot tea thinking of you!! I miss you so much grandma things just are not the same without you.. its not getting any easier as days and months and years go by i feel like i just miss you more and more each day its still hard for me.. Good morning mother, happy birthday and happy green day. Been thinking a lot about you lately. I miss you so much I can't think straight. Would love for that phone to ring and you would be on the other end and say may I speak to Karalena and she would get on and say unchee are you wearing your green shirt and you would say yes I am Karalena. And just for you she wanted to sleep in her green silky pajamas and right after we said her prayers she surprised me and David and folded her hands again and said these words exactly. Got the nose pierced!!! Hurt like you know what!!! Almost passed out, had to call Wade to come get me, but I made it home on my own! You must have been watching over me! Getting ready to go to Baltimore for weekend! Wish me Luck! Had to find MISS KARALENA some shirts before I'm able to go down.
I got her 5 of them. All of them are about SuperGirl!!!!! Maybe she wont jump me while I'm down there! LOL!!!She's a good girl though, gotta love her! Hoping to get a chance to go see Vicki and the kids, see how everything is going,I think about her alot, just not sure what to do for her though! Well got to get some more stuff ready for my vacation!!!! I'm packing lots of bubble wrap!!! and taking Seth's lacrosse helmet!!!!LOL LOL!!!! Thought you get a kick out of that!!! Hi Mother, Been thinking a whole lot about you today and everyday. Got back late from the campground and had a moment to myself for now. Karalena doesn't seem to want to go to sleep so I might have to stop once in a while and go see what she wants again. I know, your use to that. Sorry I didn't get to have tea with you this morning but as soon as I'm finished here I'll fix us both a cup (Decafinated) sorry, it's late. Everyone is doing fine, just missing you.Daddy is busy panicing about getting the campground ready for the holiday weekend, we'll be ready. As long as it don't rain heavy until then. I spent a big part of my childhood with her, she was the coolest. And some of my best memories as a little girl,were spent with her and Carmen. I remember she was always so welcoming to me, I could come over and go swimming with Carmen or just play in the house. She used to have this screen porch that the family would gather and eat crabs and have cook-outs in. I always felt welcome. I just always thought Ms. Barb was the coolest. She used to pick me up when she would come to Maryland to visit her girls. She would bring me back to PA with her or Ocean City. She was just so nice. She would take Carm and I to Jolly Rodgers and sit while we got on the same ride over and over. They were long drives that I enjoyed taking with her. I loved the fact that she always seemed to have the coolest cars!! :) To a kid, that's a big deal!! I remember her picking me up in her red car and we would talk about what boys we thought were cute. I told her I liked Jordan Knight, she told me she liked Rod Stewart. :) I just can't think of her without smiling. Her family was blessed to have her and I was blessed to know her. I will never forget you Ms. Barb, I'm thankful for the time that we were able to spend together. When I start to feel sad about this whole thing, I just remind myself of who you were and where I know that you are now. I love you Ms. Barb.

Barb: We had your memorial service yesterday. Technically, I guess it was a memorial service, but ... it was more of a family get together, where we talked about you, cried about missing you, laughed about some memories and tried to do some special things that you would have liked. John and all your kids were there with all the grandkids. Cappy and I were there, Sam came in (and by the way, thanks for the scratch off winning ticket), Vicky came up with Davey and Daniel, and even Johnny came into the pavilion during our prayer time. You would have been proud also that Karalena sat through the whole thing and later said that the "prayer part" was her favorite. We said some prayers, read some poems and Kris even read an Indian prayer for you. Terry and Kris used your holy water to mark a blessing from everyone on your ashes which were surrounded by the cross that David had given you. I then used your holy water and walked around and gave everyone a little dab - even Molly!! Your David hung a bird feeder, Kris & Terry hung a bird house, Vicky ran the bingo games that we knew you would be chuckling about (Gary and Seth had to do a play-off cause they both yelled Bingo at the same time!), and Johnny got to spend alot of time with Sam and the kids. I think he enjoyed that, and he made them all your favorite foods for dinner the night before. I passed around the seashell that you had painted for Cappy of a hunting scene - everyone noticed how the dog that you painted over 20 years ago looked like Molly! Vicky and I also had bought some scratch offs for the kids to play. There was only a few winners, but maybe there will be a winner on this weeks Mega Million - which was the prize if you won at Bingo. Whoever won got a Mega Million for this coming week. It was a good day, and I know you enjoyed watching. Everybody took part and it was really nice. By the way, keep checking back here because John has paid for this to be a permanent memorial to you.
