Remembering Beth, who has been on my heart and in my thoughts more frequently of late.

I will never forget Beth and all the good times we had when we were young. We worked together for years. We went to the shore, dressed up as the Blues Brothers on Halloween and played soccer together. I will never forget you, dear friend, but I will see you again. My deepest condolences to the Vedder family.

Clyde and Emma you are in my thoughts and prayers. I feel blessed to have met Beth. She was full of love and shared her love for everyone. Every time I see a Blue Bird, I remember her stories about how much her mom enjoyed birds. Beth, a very Special person will be missed.

So very sad to hear of Beth's passing. I will never forget the fun times we had serving as counselors, at Camp Pennwood, in our younger days. Also, the many times we ran into each other in town, usually on Friday evenings. Her smile was infectious and she was full of energy. My deepest sympathies to the family. May her Memory be Eternal.

Clyde:
I felt great sadness on learning of Beth's untimely passing
Two impressions come to mind when I think of Beth. A true professional in the art of court reporting. And, such a nice person, whose presence was always a welcome treat. She was a breath of fresh air. Heaven is now a more pleasant place.
May thoughts of the Peace Beth nows enjoys comfort you and your family.
Be sure Emma sees this. She may remember that her mother introduced me to her at Gretchen's funeral.

When I first came to York in 1982 to work as a court reporter, my first day of work was terrifying. I didn't know anyone, and coming from a very small town, York was the "big city" to me. Beth and Bonnie invited me to lunch at market. As we walked down Cherry Lane, it seemed as though Beth knew every single person on the journey, and they all knew her and stopped her to say hi or to share a comment. I remember thinking how wonderful it must be to have so many people know you and to be a part of the community. She made my first day a little less terrifying, and I felt less alone. Beth was one of the kindest people I've ever known, and the kindness she shared with the new girl that day will stay with me forever. Rest in peace, my friend.

Beth was an integral part of my church family, and she was my friend when I was growing up. I remember her kindness, her friendliness and her easy going nature. Although we traveled different paths as adults, I remember her fondly. I pray for healing and strength for her family and I want you all to know she was a positive influence in my young life.
