We are so sorry for your loss. We have so many fond memories of Birgit, from the start of school at the Utz Pavilion, to the bus rides to Camp Pennwood, to bowling and other activities with Life Skills. She always put a smile on our faces! The Lord has her in His hands now, but we will miss her.

Even though I had not seen Birgit in many years since I do not live in Hanover anymore, I have nothing but good memories of her. I especially remember her as a little girl, how busy she was and always near to the action. And even after I moved away, she would always greet me with lots of enthusiasm and warmth whenever I saw her. She brought much joy to the lives of many.

That photo totally conveys Birgit's personality. It truly makes me smile and remember how she loved people. I keep hearing from the cousins, that she never forgot anybody's name. She always wanted to be in the center of conversation and the center of our attention. She loved all of us and she was loved by us all too. She added a special element to all our lives by her presence. We were all very fortunate to have her in our life. She loved greeting us when she met us after not seeing us for awhile. When she hugged you - you knew it for she meant it with her whole being. She was one active little girl and I remember as a young teenager I was the one who had to chase her around the yard trying to catch her!!! We love her and will miss her!

I remember calling your house many times to talk to Cherri and every time I did Birgit would always have to know which phone I was on and then go through everyone in the house. She amazed me with her attention to detail and memory. She was one of the most caring and sweetest people I have ever meant. Many prayers to the family. She will be missed.
