Charles A. Karnes

ETTERS Charles A. Karnes, 85, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Harrisburg Hospital. He went to be with his late son, John, and his Lord and Saviour. He was a truck driver at the age of 14 and retired at the age of 80 from RJ Davis Trucking Company. He is survived by his wife, Robin E. (Floyd) Karnes; three daughters, Robin Hooven of Duncannon, Kim Hoffman of Etters, and Debbie Papalia of Pittsburgh; three sons, Patrick Doran of Florida, Michael Doran of California, and Tom Stine of East Berlin; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He lived a long and interesting life, and "He did it his way". A private memorial service will be held by the family.
