Dear Jan and Herb,

I close my eyes and see Cindy as a little girl, then as a teenager and then as a beautiful grown woman with her own family. She was like a second daughter to me. The world was a better place for having her in it.
Peace and love.

To Cindy's Family,

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Cindy. I just had a dentist appointment this morning and asked how she was doing when I was told that she passed. Cindy passed away the same day as my father who was suffering from lung cancer, though a car accident is what took his life too soon.

Cindy and I were the exact same age, born the same month and only 5 days apart. We shared a lot of stories and she loved her son soo much. I use to see his pictures in her office.

Cindy use to love my wigs! I use to joke about me buying her a wig to turn her into a red head to jazz things up a bit. I almost bought her one too!

She was one of the sweetest people and we both looked forward to my dental visits because we both knew we would end up laughing the entire time she was trying to clean my teeth!

Cindy will be missed and I'll be sure to ask my Dad to look out for her in Heaven because I know that's where she is.

Dear Jan, Herb and Family ~

I just learned of Cindy's passing yesterday. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you.

She will always be remembered as the pretty, lively blonde girl next door and a friend of my own daughter Chrissy.

It is a parent's worst nightmare to have to bury a child no matter what age parent or child is. I pray for strength for both of you in your loss.

Love,
Jackie and Gary

Cindy, I walked the Breast Cancer 3-Day for you again. This time was so different, you weren't here for me to come see you when I was finished but I could see your smile thru my tears. I took pictures for you as I always do. You will forever be remembered in my heart and your name has been added to the Breast Cancer Rememberance Tent in San Diego. Rest peacefully my friend, you have gone to a place where you will always be young and always be beautiful.

Dear Todd, Zane and family,

I felt it an honor to have met Cindy when she came to work at Drake Family Dentistry 20+ years ago. Her smile and happy-go-lucky nature made many people comfortable. It was great sharing time together at work with her and also sharing the adventures of her life--your wedding and the birth of Zane to name a few. When she was diagnosed and started her brave battle, there were many times we cried together and I remember telling her how much I admired her strength, for what she endured. Eric and I will both miss Cindy's smile and friendship, but we know that she's dancing with angels now! Our prayers are with you all.

I remember Cindy from as far back as when we celebrated 1st Holy Communion together at St. Rose's. Her smile never dimmed thru the years. I offer my prayers and sympathy to her family and friends.

Dear Todd, Zane and all of Cindy's many, many friends,
We were so saddened to hear that Cindy is gone. We know words cannot describe your pain right now. But, remember that Cindy is finally free from all her pain. She is strong and smiling. She fought very hard to stay on earth with you, but it wasn't meant to be. Please remember though, she is always with you now. Not just sometimes, all the time. Whenever you need her, close your eyes and listen she is right there putting her arms around you. You can hear her voice and her laughter. Be open to her, and she will still guide you.

Todd, if you miss Cindy's smile, look at your son, it's right there beside you.

Zane, your mom was very proud of you and loved you more than the world. You are a wonderful legacy for her.

To know Cindy was to love her, she will be greatly missed.

We were very saddened to hear of Cindy's passing after such a long and valiant fight. We have such fond memories of our time with her, not only with Zane in class at St. Rose, but of her gentleness as a hygenist with two fearful girls. May God's peace and comfort be with Zane and his dad, as well as with the many many friends who loved her.
