Edna A. (Reed) Bacque, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Cramer D. Bacque, to whom she was married for 63 years.
A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis A. Hummel officiating. Viewings will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Born September 24, 1934, in Covington, TN, a daughter of the late Vardaman and Zettie "Pearl" (Brown) Reed, she was a graduate of Humes High School in Memphis, TN. Edna was a member of Yorkshire United Methodist Church and dedicated her life to her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bacque is survived by three daughters, Diana and husband Brendan Wolfe of Mechanicsville, MD, Cindy and husband Chris Grimes of Glen Burnie, MD, and Brenda and husband Craig Hewitt of Denton, MD; three grandchildren, David Grimes and Morgan and Brooke Hewitt; and a sister, Velma Adamy of California. She was preceded in death by a son, David Bacque.
