Elizabeth L. Moody

DOVER Elizabeth I. Moody, 91, of Providence Place, died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Providence Place. She was the wife of the late Samuel W. Moody. Born August 7, 1924, in Newberry Township, a daughter of the late Ray and Catherine (Koellner) Beshore, she was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 25 years of employment. She was a member of Goldsboro Church of God, Valley Green Farm Women, and Goldsboro Fire Company Auxiliary. Mrs. Moody is survived by three sons, Samuel B. Moody and his wife, Lois of Goldsboro, Ray E. Moody and his wife, Ruthann of New Cumberland, and Ronald W. Moody of York Haven; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leucretia Hess and Kathryn Gross; and a brother, William Beshore. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Jeanne Moody, and a granddaughter, Lori Moody. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with her Interim Pastor, The Rev. William Smith, officiating. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Goldsboro Church of God, P.O. Box 235, Etters, PA 17319.
