Frank E. Auspitz YORK Frank E. Auspitz, 79, died at 1:10 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2002, at Dallastown Nursing Center. He was the husband of Frances A. (Paules) Auspitz. Mr. and Mrs. Auspitz observed their 58th wedding anniversary on December 24, 2002. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St. is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Mount Rose Cemetery. Mr. Auspitz was born January 23, 1923, in York. He was the son of the late Frank W. and Florence (Mountford) Auspitz. Mr. Auspitz was a self- educated expert in 18th Century furniture and architecture. He specialized in designing and creating reproductions of period furniture and homes and shared his skills with clients around the country. He owned and operated Auspitz Cabinet Shop in York for over 50 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He was a 1941 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and a graduate of Curtiss-Wright Technical Institute in Glendale, Calif. He was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Frank was a devoted husband and father; and enjoyed golf. Mr. Auspitz is also survived by two daughters, Emily A. Kelly of Richmond,Va., Liz A. Precopio, of Collegeville, Pa.; three grandchildren , Todd and Amy Kelly and Ryan Precopio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Polly and I were saddened to read of your loss. I know it has been many years since we have seen each other,but I have thought of Frank and his friend Charlie Irvin (SP). I was also in their graduating class, 1941, from Bill Penn.
